nutcrackering
Last night was so much fun!!!!!!!!
Everyone left for the Nutcracker at around 3:30 and we got there in plenty of time to get to our seats and everyone get arranged. The ballet was really good and it was Brittany and Nicki's first time seeing a ballet, so that was pretty exciting. Eli actually liked it (although he was a bit ashamed to admit it at first). Adam was in a MAJOR crappy mood the entire time cause he double-booked himself and commited to going with some girl to the Jingle Bell Hop and paid to go to the Nutcracker. He thought that we weren't gonna make the dance in time and was all droopy cause he felt bad...
ANYWAY, we went to McDonald's after the show and I found out that Eli and this chick Margy might have something going on; I'm not sure how I feel about that...actually, I AM sure...I DON'T LIKE IT ONE BIT!!!!!
We made it to the dance in plenty of time (it started at 8 and we got there at 8:15), Adam met up with is date, and all the boys who went with us to the show went off with their dates that us girls didn't know they had, so it was kinda weird (at least Eli's date wasn't Margy).
I danced with my girlfriends the whole night and was asked to dance by Cary (who is an amazing dancer by the way). It was pretty great. Eli came walking past me and kinda laid his hand on my back and patted my shoulder and said "Hey!"...sigh... (GEEZ I can be such a girl some times!)
The dance ended at 11:00; Adam and Eli went to go hang out with their dates and their friends and we went home. As soon as we got into the lobby, I flopped down on the couch next to Dylan, laid my head on his chest, and about fell asleep. Luckily, I made it to my bed in time and slept there, not waking up till 11:30 (then realizing that I was late for my theatre-major's assesment).
The rest of the day will be devoted to painting my stagecraft flat and studying.
adios!
