that's a wrap

Well, the play is done. We finished strike about 1 1/2 hours earlier than anticipated (which was nice), and I went to Sheri's afterward with Dania, Rommie and Katie and we talked about boys for 2 hours. I slept for 10 HOURS today, too, which is amazing...
I need a break from life. Seriously, with the two weeks I have until rehearsals start for the next show (yes that's right...2 weeks), assuming that I even get a part of course, I need some serious down time. So, if anyone decides to take any weekend roadtrips any time soon, let me know, cause I'm all about not being at Fox for a while.

doin a 180 (as best as I can)

My life changed tonight...literally.
I can't say specifically how (for privacy's sake), and I honestly don't really want to...There are some special things that you just want to keep to yourself, ya know?
Maves, if you're reading this, you make my soul happy. I am a different person now because of you (different in a good way), and I will always think of you as someone who changed my life for the better. You are amazing. I love you kiddo.

Fan-freakin-tastic

Roomies was pretty much rediculous. I haven't laughed that much in a long freaking time. We carved pumpkins for a contest thingy we did (Phil and I tied for first by the by) and then ate pizza and played Taboo and danced for a while. Dancing was alright, minus I've never danced with anyone who actually knows how to lead, so it took some getting used to at first. Then we ate some more and had worship, which was neat. Seriously though, I needed last night. Phil was amazing and I'm glad that I went with him. It was totally chill and I learned that seagulls' feathers can turn orange if you feed them too many carrots (according to Phil anyway).

AND I don't have rehearsal until Wednesday or work at ALL this week! Yay!

jitterbug

Last night was pretty flipping exciting.
Dylan came around 3ish and we hung out with Caleb and some of the Penn 1 (this year) boys. After the show Dylan, me, Wes, Randy, Moto, Dania, Rommie, Dan W. and Eric went to Sheri's and ate and hung out, which was an interesting experience. Eric, Dan and Rommie didn't know any of the other guys, so the table was kinda split in half. Every once in a while conversations would converge, but then they would split up again and I felt like my head was gonna explode cause I was trying to keep up with both groups at the same time.
We stood around in the parkinglot for FOREVER (no one knows why) and just joked around and wrestled with eachother and tried to trip eachother. And Eric hugged me when we got back to school (which is never a bad thing) and I got some good time in with Dylan (which is also never a bad thing).
Roomies is tonight and I'm going with Phil Heu-Weller, but he doesn't know that I know...bwahahahaha...Phil is pretty much the perfect date for this cause he is an amazing swing dancer and that's what we're doing. He's also much taller than me, which is nice for a change. Not to mention that he's not completely unfortunate looking. I'm nervous dangit. Grrrrr...
Now for the neverending activities of the weekend to continue. Time to go get ready!

1 down, 5 to go

Opening night went very well. There weren't any major mistaktes or flubs (none that the audience could pick up on anyway), and we got a generally good response from people...And now we get to do it all over again...5 more times...

This is the set (before we spilled silver paint all over it and now it looks like it's metal-plated...rad, huh?)

Well, this is Dan. He's my boyfriend in the show. And he lives on our brother floor (Penn 2). And he's really really neat.

chop-shop

It's gone...it's all gone...My hair is gone and i hate it...I hate it and i'm not going to pretend not to. Right now I feel unfeminine, mannish and ugly, and all the "It's so CUTE"s that everyone is giving me and all the compliments seems fake and consolitory. I catch glimpses of myself in the mirror or a window and do a double-take because i have to make sure that it's really me. At least i'm dyeing it exciting colors after the show. That'll make up for it a little bit.

And if one more person says "Don't worry, it'll grow back", I'm going to punch them in the FACE! DUH! I KNOW that it's gonna grow back! I'm not that stupid...

sum up

I'm in Understanding Drama and am bored spitless.
This past weekend was insane. I worked on Friday and Saturday from 10 AM-5 PM and don't want to ever set foot in Woodmar AGAIN!!! Unfortunatley, that's where the show is, so I don't really have a choice.
Dylan randomly appeared on campus Friday night, so that was good (not to mention the fact that the volleyball team whipped Linfield's BUTT!). And Saturday night was fun too...After the volleyball game, I went hunting for Rimsky's with Dania, Rommie, Ben, Will and Dan (from our brother floor; Penn 2), which was an interesting adventure. With over-the-phone directional assistance from Dania's friend Anna, we finally found it and ate yummy dessert and laughed at/with our flambouyantly gay, 34 year old waiter. I actually didn't have to work on Sunday (woot!), so I slept in until 12:40 and kinda shlepped around until 5 when I went to dinner with Bree and Bebe 1. Dylan came back to school that night and we hung out and just talked for a while, which was a a nice break from the spasticness of school.
I guess the theme for the weekend ended up being "Work sucks".

Oh, and I have to cut my hair by Saturday (don't worry Erin...After the show, we're going blue).
