happy things

I'm home, I'm tired, and I'm excited that school starts on Monday! Ah!
I came back with a whole 'nother suitcase of clothes. That's freaking ridiculous. It's mostly due to the fact that 4 of them were jackets/sweaters, but still! (Oh, and Cressa, I have to show you the killer new outfit I got. You will be proud of my sudden fashionable...ness...?)
I am currently trying to figure out how the hell to download MSN Messenger onto my Mac (hence my cry for help last night, Kyle), but am happy cause I got to see exciting people yesterday. I ran into aforementioned Kyle, Tyrel Rawlins, and Ty Dexter walking back from the mail room. 'Twas neat. I have a feeling that I will be seeing alot more school friends now that the year is approaching. Yay!

woot!

So, this past weekend just might have been the best weekend I've had all summer long.

*Disclaimer: If you're not interested in reading a play-by-play of the past 3 days, stop now*

Dania came up on Friday and went with me to Eric Parker's good-bye concert at the Underground. After aforementioned concert, Dania, me, Eric, Moto, and some guy named John got food from Safeway and Taco Bell and went to my apartment and ate and hung out and watched Edward Scissorhands cause Moto and Eric had never seen it. During the movie, Moto and John fell asleep and I went to bed. I awoke the next morning to find that Eric and Moto had just spent the night in my livingroom, so Dania and I made breakfast for everyone and it was lots o' fun.

After breakfast, Eric and the other guys ran away (*tear*...I'm gonna miss my favorite GFU redhead), and Dania and I went to Saturday Market with Moto, Dirty, and Molly Boyle. We bought exciting jewelry and bowls and whatnot, then came home and took a nap. Phil Heu-Weller then called and we decided to go see Taladega Nights (boo!!), which was fun despite the lameness of the movie. Most of the fun-ness revolved around the group of men that accompanied D and I to said lame movie; Phil, JV, Kyle, and Dylan definitely made it more enjoyable.

As if the evening couldn't get any fun...ner(?), D and I ended up crashing at Kyle's place after watching Batman Begins and eating pizza and drinking questionable beverages.
D and I left Kyle's at 5 AM cause she had to be on the road by 6 and all her crap was still at my place. I went back to bed after she left, and Dylan came over around 1(ish). Kyle soon followed, and the 3 of us spent a fun-filled day at Dairy Queen, Target, and Bridgeport. Besides the fact that I felt like utter shit, it was a fantastic day and I have decided that those two boys make me incredibly happy (almost) all of the time.

All that to say, I walked away from this weekend with 3 things:
1.) An ever-increasing irritation/sadness that Dylan lives so far away
2.) An ever-increasing appreciation for the male ability to make the worst days end up wonderful
3.) An ever-DEcreasing appreciation for only getting paid once-a-month (it really is torturous when you're stuck in Borders with only $5 in your wallet)

Only 4 more days till I get to go home!
And only 3 more weeks till school starts!
It is out of control how fast this summer has gone...
